Prof. Ming Chen, Zhejiang University, China

Top 2% scientists of the world

Prof. Ming Chen is the director of the Bioinformatics Laboratory at the College of Life Sciences and is the leading figure in the field of bioinformatics at Zhejiang University, China. He obtained his Ph.D. in bioinformatics from Bielefeld University, Germany, in 2004. He was seconded to the Fundamental Research Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, served as president assistant, and was specially appointed dean at Inner Mongolia Minzu University.


Prof. Chen's research work covers bioinformatics, systems biology, non-coding RNA transcriptomics, and precision medicine. He has published over 200 academic papers in peer-viewed journals such as Cell, Nature, Nucleic Acids Research, Bioinformatics, etc., with a Google Scholar H-index of over 50. He has been included in the list of the top 2% of scientists in the world.


Prof. Ming Chen is the President of the Bioinformatics Society of Zhejiang Province, China; Committee Director of Chinese Society for "Multi-Omics and Integrative Biology"; Committee Deputy Director of Chinese Society for "Modeling and Simulation of Biological Systems"; Committee Executive Member of Chinese Societies for "Computational Systems Biology" and "Functional Genomics & Systems Biology"; and Committee Member of Chinese Societies for "Biomedical Information Technology" and "Biophysics (Bioinformatics)."




Prof. Guiyin Li,Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology

Top 2% scientists of the world

A second-level professor of Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology, A postdoctoral fellow in clinical medicine/Pharmacy, A doctoral supervisor, and a visiting scholar in the University of Michigan. She is mainly engaged in carbon-based nanase catalysis, biomedical sensing, targeted diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors. She presided over 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 7 provincial and ministerial level projects. She won 4 times of Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award, Maoming City "March 8 Red Flag Bearer", Hunan Province "Furong Hundred Gang star" and other honorary titles. As the first author or corresponding author, she has published more than 100 SCI papers in many journals such as Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Applied Surface Science, Microchimica Acta, and 5 papers was selected as ESI TOP 1% "highly cited papers" worldwide. Also, she was selected as one of the "Top 2% of the world's Leading Scientists" in 2022. As the first inventor, she had authorized 48 Chinese invention patents, 2 international invention patents, and completed 5 patent transformations.

Assoc. Prof. Piyush Kumar Shukla, Technological University of Madhya Pradesh, India

Dr. Piyush Kumar Shukla (PDF, Ph.D., SMIEE, LMISTE) is an Honorary Adjunct Professor, School of Computer Information and Communication Engineering, Kunsan National University, South Korea, and Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department, University Institute of Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (Technological University of Madhya Pradesh). He is Ph.D. in CSE, MTech in CSE, and BE in ECE from RGPV, Bhopal, M.P. India.Dr. Shukla has published more than 150 research papers, book chapters, and books at the national and international level in IEEE/ACM Transactions, Elsevier, and Springer. He has published seven books with Springer, IGI Global, Taylor & Francis, Wiley-SP, and AAP. He is an active reviewer and editorial member of more than ten reputed international journals in his research areas. Dr. Piyush has delivered more than 25 expert lectures and chaired many technical sessions at international conferences worldwide, such as in the USA. He is also a member of many professional bodies, like the IEEE (Senior Member) and the ISTE (Life Member). His research interests include machine intelligence, medical image processing, and white-box cryptography. He has supervised seven Ph.D. scholars and 50 M.Tech. dissertations to date. 




Prof. Gangmin Ning, Zhejiang University, China

ProfessorGangmin Ning obtained degree of Bachelor and Master in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China, and degree of Dr.-Ing in Biomedical Engineering from Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Zhejiang University, China. Also he holds positions as a Visiting Professor at Charité Medicine Center, Germany, and Guest Professor at Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, China. He serves as the vice Chairperson of the Microcirculation Society of China and the Deputy Director of the Engineering Research Center for Electronic Medical Records and Intelligent Expert Systems, Ministry of Education, China. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering.

His main research areas encompass mathematical models for physiological system, artificial intelligence in medicine, and rehabilitation technologies for elderly. He achieved one first prize and three second prizes of Science and Technology Progress Awards, Zhejiang Province, China.
